communities.

A school district must have high standards for student achievement.  For the last four decades the Kansas City, Missouri School District has failed to achieve this goal for the community's children.

Change can only be accomplished by recreating the school district; breaking up the KCMSD into a suggested five smaller more manageable school districts.

In four decades the present KCMSD has had nineteen different superintendents, not counting the one to replace Mr. Taylor---- most of those in the last ten years.
The KCMSD has a proven track record of failure and lowering its standards.  It is time to make a real difference, time to make a change.

The following surveys will help make the needed changes.  The KCMO community needs to express its true feelings on the district.  This will be the catalyst to bring together several groups, community leaders, and elected officials to move forward with a needed initiative petition on several issues that will make the
neighborhoods of KCMO a decent place to raise and educate the community's children.
