A Failing Kansas City, Missouri School District

If you go to http://gydi.org/truancy.html the dates are a few years in the past, but the data still applies to day. Neighborhoods First hope by pulling together the six Kansas City, Missouri city council districts neighborhood associations to work on the "Quality of Life" and "Safety Issues", both apply to how the school district operates: destroying our neighborhoods.

The links will lead you to the track record of NF and her associates, please go to these links and then decide if you would like to part of NF's group.

Neighborhoods First is working with 279 Kansas City, Missouri Neighborhood Associations and Home Owner Associations to form a combined neighborhood association presidents' council in each of the six city council districts making up Kansas City, Missouri.

There will be one neighborhood association presidents' council in each district, each district will elect one president to set on a lead neighborhood association presidents' council make up of one neighborhood association president from each district. This lead council will take on issues the district president's council can not achieve.

Each district presidents' council will hold regular meetings with the community support police representative officer, their district elected city council member, discuss their issues, if their issues are neglected and not acted on, then the lead presidents' council will meet with the six district city council members, the city manager, and the mayor and see it these issues can be resolved.

If not, then petitions will be written and taken to the voter to force any changes.

changes will take place: If the issues then are ignored, new people will be selected to run for office against the city council members and/or the mayor, the city manager can then be replaced , new people will fill the seats of the city council members, mayor, city manager which chose to not act on these important issues.

Remember, large number can not go unheard.

The lead presidents' council will work with the Kansas City, Missouri School District's Superintendent on what and how to improve the school district. Most school district have two problem areas, the teachers union and the school board.

Each neighborhood association presidents' council will meet with the school board member elected in their district and see how they can work more closely with the school districts superintendent on how to improve education in the Kansas City, Missouri School District.  If the school board members decide to play politics and not help the district, then they too will be recalled and new elected people will fill the slot of the ones that was to consumed with themselves and not the school district.
